Buying a home, old or
new is a daunting experience. Having your home inspected by an experienced ASHI
Certified Home Inspector is a wise decision to help you with an important part of the
process. A Home Inspection by an ASHI Certified Home Inspector provides the buyer with
an excellent opportunity to become familiar with the functions of the mechanical systems
that are installed in the home and gives you a general overview of the condition of the
home’s major systems and components. A Standard Home Inspection is an objective visual
examination of the physical structure and major systems of a home from the roof to the
foundation. The Home Inspector should inspect and report on the home’s
Building Site, Exterior,
Roof, Structural Components, Plumbing, Electrical,
Heating and A/C Systems, Interior Walls, Ceilings, Windows,
and Doors, Fireplaces and Stoves, Attic, Visible Insulation and
Ventilation and Attached Garages or
Carports.
While it’s not required
that you be present for the home inspection; it is highly recommended. You will
be able to observe the home inspector and ask questions as you learn about the condition
of the home and how to maintain it. During the Home Inspection you will have learned
many things about your new home and the Home Inspection Report will have valuable
information that can be used for future reference.
You can trust that an
ASHI Certified Inspector will deliver exceptional service and expert knowledge.
